New York Law School is a private law school founded in 1891 in the Tribeca neighborhood of Lower Manhattan. It is within walking distance of Wall Street and City Hall. In 2009, NYLS opened a 235,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility that houses the law library, classrooms, public event spaces, and several student collaboration areas.
