The American Museum Of Natural History founded in 1869 has been an institution for worldly culture and science. Located at Central Park West, this museum was designated a New York City landmark in 1967. For almost two centuries the museum has been exhibiting a variety of displays with artifacts from around the world.
Par Plumbing, a division of The PAR Group, furnished and installed two sinks, two filters and two mixing valves. The team also roughed and connected two ultrasonic cleaning tanks.
Ultrasonic cleaning tanks use vapor cavities in liquid, also known as cavitation bubbles to create high frequency sound waves to disturb the liquid. The disturbance creates high forces on contaminates stuck to substrates like metals, plastics, glass, rubber and ceramics. This allows for the cleaning in blind holes, cracks and recesses on objects without the use of harmful chemicals.
